Oreo Cookie Flash Mob: Everyone loves a cookie, especially a free-cookie. ... even New Yorker. Mostly. On May 13, Oreo- parent-company Mondelēz sent 500 a cappella singers, along with singer Adam Young of Owl City, to spread joy, harmony, and cookies all around NYC. Accounts from Twitter leads me to think that people - if not skeptical New Yorkers - are thrilled with the campaign and the creative marketing. Even if/though the stunt was corny - it generated even more buzz for the new campaign. The Oreo Wonderfilled Anthem (below) has been viewed on YouTube more than a half million times, since being posted one week ago. Good work, Mondelēz. You deserve a cookie for all your efforts.

I really loved these fun, community-oriented food stunts. Can't wait to see what comes next.
